  • These candles are made using Lumetique's proprietary, handcrafted Crackling Booster wooden wicks made from FSC forest management standard wood (https://woodenwick.com/pages/patents), not treated with any chemicals
  • The wax of candles with wooden wicks can be colored by tannin, a plant material that naturally accumulates in the wood, so a change in color (darkening) of the wax after a candle burning session is a normal reaction
  • Before lighting the candle, it is recommended to shorten the wick to 3 mm - otherwise it may go out. It is recommended to remove the wick deposit before re-lighting the candle
  • When lighting a candle for the first time, it is recommended to touch the source of the flame to both the wick and the wax - this way the wick will ignite faster
